	A good friend of mine gave me a mix tape back in 1995 with a couple of killer songs by a band named ' Guided by Voices' When I heard Hot Freaks, I was hooked for life. Literally every single woodcut I have made since 1995 has been made while listening to Guided by Voices or any of the multitude of separate but equally great Robert Pollard projects, such as the Takeovers, or the Circus Devils. Boston Spaceships is Robert Pollards newest band along with Guitarist Chris Slusarenko and Drummer John Moen. Personally, it is a tremendous honor to have been invited to do some artwork for Boston Spaceships!( I am listening to them right now as I am typing this!) I know you can download this image to use as a wallpaper at bostonspaceships.com but if you want the real thing they're just a hundred bucks!
If you'd rather save your money to stock up on som eBoston Spaceships, you can still buy one of these woodcuts printed on unused billboard paper, each one is totally different. just 25 bucks!
This woodcut was supposed to be for some gig posters I was doing for the Normal Happiness tour. It was shaping up ok till I fucked up and cut Robort Pollard into the wood. I still can't believe I spelled his name wrong.... I did end up making some posters but they were embarrasingly weak and if you want to track one down you are gonna have to look somesplace else... if you want oneof these prints they are just 25 dollars.		Last but not least , this was my first woodcut/failed attempt at a gig poster for Guided by Voices, everything was smooth sailing until the outfit I was doing this for told me that they were no longer going to publish poster that included copywritten material... still If you want one of these on billboard paper they too are just 25 bucks.
